Review: Every Christian wife and wife-to-be should read this book! The challenges of living a Christ-centered life in today's feminist society are addressed truthfully in an atmosphere of experience and humor. But this book is for the woman who truly desires to live her life in obedience to her Saviour. If you are searching for a closer walk with your Lord and are willing to soften your heart before Him, you will not believe the blessings you will receive! This is a message that is sorely lacking in today's church, and one that is greatly needed. Summary: Excellent Christ Centered Material
Review: I have found the information to be extremely accurate and God's truth. I looked up the verses and they were NOT taken out of context. I was skepical at first, but after reading,studying and praying I know it to be true. My husband read the book as well and he found it to be insightful and helpful with regards to his role as father of our daughter.This book was written for Christian married women.There was one point my husband felt was left out and that was the husband's authority,and who he submits to and answers directly to as leader and authority of our family, God.

Summary: Best book on the role of a wife I have read
Review: I have read a number of books in the past 2 1/2 years since I have been married on the topic of marriage. This one courageously points out the biblical principles that a wife should adhere to. Using the teaching from this book on submission and being your spouses 'helpmate', I have greatly improved the quality of my relationship with my spouse and feel greatly blessed from God.

Review: I have read this book cover to cover 3 times in the hopes that my opinion would change. This book is an embarrasment to christianity in general! The author has little or no references to back up her opinionated "facts". It's a book based almost solely on one woman's opinions.

Review: On The Other Side of The Garden is an excellent resource for any stage in a woman's life. I found that if you take the scripture and study you will see God's purpose. I have read other books that attempt to conform a woman to painfully correct her husband when he is not making the "right decision". This book gives you guidance, it is not a direct order to follow. All books should be read with an open mind that they are the work of men/women. You should study Gods word and use the literature of others to help understand. By reading and studying this book along with the Bible, I have found that I am more of my husbands helper and he is trying more to be a Godly leader. I am not "looking over his shoulder" for his sin, but rather looking into my own heart and life and allowing God to humble me by letting me see my sin.

Summary: Job Description for Biblical Womanhood
Review: This book is a wonderful tool for ladies that desires to follow God's plan as a help mate. She addresses how to be a help mate to passive as well as aggressive husbands. We learn some critical lessons as to why it is important to respect our husbands as well as teach our children to respect our husbands. This book has helped me to make some positive changes in my heart and life. Mrs Fugate does a wonderful job presenting the wisdom she has aquired.

Summary: A Must Read & Study Book
Review: This book is EXCELLENT! Don't be put off because it looks and seems "old fashioned." It should be on the bookshelf of everyone who really want to walk-the-walk and not just talk-the-talk. The book shows us how to use Christ as an example for humility and having a servant's heart, in our marriages and in our homes. I also liked the section describing how our actions and reactions to our husbands are watched and modeled by our children. Wonderful book. I learned a lot and feel I can actually apply much of what I learned! Bless her for following God's lead to write this treasure! God will bless those who seek His knowledge.
