It looks at every topic in a radically new way, from "rewards and punishment" to "dealing with confict" to "peer pressure", "sex" and, perhaps the greatest fear for most of us, "alcohol and drugs." Best of all, it looks at teens in a whole new light: as persons-in-development who deserve our respect and support,and shows us how to provide it. Review: This book was recommended to me by our School Counsellor and after reading it, I can understand why. I found this book to cover the situations that my teens and I have been going through. I have applied Carolyn's knowledge on several different occasions and have found a greater peace has taken place within my home! Carolyn has shown me the way to brighter days with my teens. I know that there will still be some bumps in the road, but having this book at my side gives me great comfort. If you have children, you need this book, I highly recommend it.
