Review: As a recently diagnosed diabetic, I found this book very helpful in giving me the information I needed and dispelling many of my fears and misconceptions of this disease. It is written in a straightforward and easy to understand format. It covers everything from the basics of what diabetes is,how to check glucose levels,and proper diet and exercise to how to handle special situations such as illness and travel. This is an excellent reference guide to living succesfully with diabetes.
