Rating: Summary: A great book for all women considering adoption Review: I am planning on placing my baby for adoption and I have found this book very helpful in knowing what is to come, in terms of the grief I will be experiencing after the baby's placement. It is quite thorough and and covers many aspects of adoption from a birthmother's point of view, from making the decision, to the baby's birth, to dealing with feelings after placement. I would highly recommend this book to anyone who is considering adoption for their baby.
Rating: Summary: A must-read for any birthparent at any point of experience. Review: This book was such an eye opener for me. I realized that so much of what I went thru after I gave my son up for adoption was completely normal. My thanks and appreciation to Patricia Roles for sharing her experience and wisdom in this book.

Rating: Summary: Not impressed. Review: This is not a book that I would recommend. While it may have one or two good points, it has an overall negative tone that radiates off of each page. The title is wonderful and it is too bad that it is used on this book. I was expecting more from a book with this title.
