Review: This is an interesting book, but in some chapters it tends to focus more on the historical role of the child than it addresses current social issues that are of concern in our society. Some of the contributing authors also offer highly subjective perspectives on their topics. Some chapters are very relevant and informative. All in all, a mixed experience.
