Summary: Extremely user friendly & well organized! I highly recommend
Review: After reviewing several books on etiquette and manners, I found this to be the easiest to use. It is specifically geared to families and includes some cute illustrations to emphasize the points. The book is laid out with topics that range from 1 to 3 pages and covers everything from introductions to conversation starters; manners at fast food restaurants to gourmet restaurants. Every morning, I read one page from the book to my two children (ages 2 & 5) and practice one of the principles read on the page. For example, both of my children now know the 5 S's of introduction (Stand, Smile, Shake, See {look in the eyes}, and Say {It's nice to meet you}. If you're looking for a great book to teach manners, common courtesy, etiquette, and the reason why behind the manners, this is the book for you!

Summary: The Family Book of Manners
Review: I found this book in the library and brought it home to read with my 11 year old. At first he was full of animosity, thinking he was above it, then he started to really get into it. By the middle of the book I knew I had to have a copy for the home. Fortunately I was able to buy a used copy at Amazon. The book is currently out of print. It is a wonderful manners book for the Christian family, full of good solid advice and fun to read.

Review: This is the best book of it's kind I've found. MUST reading for growing families...A super aid for civilizing grandchildren, in case the children are slow in getting around to it.
