Summary: Here's help and guidance for dealing with the impossible ex.
Review: Nicole L. Weyant's book is a breath of fresh air for non-custodial parents struggling with their children's other parent. Nicole writes from a deeply personal struggle that she and her husband have faced while she gives the reader practical, immediate advice to help with a far too common situation. Nicole clearly explains Malicious Mother Syndrome as well as Parental Alientation Syndrome (PAS) -- two extremely damaging yet widespread tactics that custodial parents often inflict upon their children and their former spouses. The book helps a non-custodial parent understand his or her responsibilities to the former spouse and provides some enlightening guidelines for divorced parents. The extremely detailed chapters on Documentation and Legalese are must-haves for non-custodial parents who are victims of PAS. This book is a great resource for any parent and stepparent with even the tiniest problems in dealing with a former spouse.

Summary: Excellent!
Review: Peace in a blended family IS possible, and Ms. Weyant articulately spells out the logic with an easy-to-read style. Superbly written, this book should be in every blended family's home library.

Summary: A Non-Custodial Family "Must Read"
Review: So many Step-Family books are written from the perspective that everyone is playing nice and following the rules and, in general, cares about preserving the peace between two households. This book is for those Non-Custodial Parents who find that the other household is NOT playing nice or following the rules and is, basically, waging war against them; often holding the children 'hostage'. It contains a serious amount of good information, solid techniques & common-sensical advice for a Non-Custodial Parent from a 'veteran's' perspective,,,
