Summary: What a woman! Gods bless her always
Review: I am only seventeen, but this book helped me realize how and why to discuse my religion to my children, if I have them. She is funny and her down to earth style made me feel welcome. She gave me answers to many questions people always ask me about wicca and me being a witch. A must for your inspirational and informational library!

Summary: A practical guide to tackling children's tough questions...
Review: I am Wiccan, but I have no children of my own. However, I found this book helpful when talking to my step-son. He is not a Witch, but the answers in this book are so practical that they could be applied to any child, regardless of his/her religious background. I am also having the boy's father read this, because I feel it will help him when the youngster comes to him with questions about life that aren't very easy to answer.

Summary: A Great Start For Family Pagans
Review: I found the book very informative and very interesting. Its great to see ideas on how others are raising their childeren in Wicca tradition...a must have for those that want to welcome their child or childeren into the craft and this is the best way to get started.

Summary: Great Book
Review: I have a copy of this book, and have met Ashleen in person (we are in the Tucson Area Pagan/Wiccan Network together). This is an OUTSTANDING book... I dont have kids of my own YET, but when i do, this will be the first book i refer to...

Summary: Really shows how kids can be part of Wicca
Review: I have read many books on pagan and feminist spirituality and this is the first that helps me understand where my kids would fit in to that lifestyle. In addition, there is good advice for parenting in general, especially for older kids who are starting to think for themselves.

The author acknowledges solitary practitioners, but does seem to favor working in covens.

Summary: Not perfect...
Review: I liked this book because I am part of a Pagan family, it made me feel that I was not alone. I did find it a bit MUCH at times, but for what it is it is laudable.

I couldn't help but think that the Pagan reading this without much other info on the religion could jump to some weird conclusions, though.

Summary: It was a perfect book
Review: It was a book the whole family enjoyed.Ashleen o'Gae

Summary: A must read for the newbies to the craft
Review: My husband bought this book for me earlier this year, and its darn near worn out. I've lent it out so many times I'll be amazed if I ever get it back. The book helps families (especially those new to the craft or solitary) understand that they are not alone and give some ideas as to what they can do to help their children and families understand. Ive sent copies to my Southern Baptist grandparents and Catholic father to help them understand us better. A great book!

Summary: I have bought seven copies so far, and I need to get another
Review: The first time I read this book was the Spring of 1994. This book helped me answer MANY tough questions from my children, especially my daughter. I read this book for the first time only two or three months after I embraced my Pagan/Wiccan Path. We were in Germany at the time, and when it was time to move to the states, we chose Tucson Arizona, because of this book. I was able to make contact with the Tucson Area Wiccan Network (soon there after to become the Tucson Area Wiccan & Pagan Network) within 7 days of us arriving in Tucson, because of this book.

The reason I have bought so many copies so far ... this is a wonderful gift for anyone who deals with children, or even someone who wants to incorporate some "fun" back into their Spiritual Path, no matter the Path.
