Rating: Summary: doesnt explain games for "special" kids Review: My kid is "special". Ok, ill admit it, I'm a little ashamed. But being the parent of a moron, i need all the help i can get...this book isn't what I was looking for. Many of the games, are for kids that can think, and what does my kid do...sit around the house saying "buhnuhhunhn munnuhhunn". Is this book helpful for me?? Of course not. For example: we're playing a game, I tell him to role the die and the little brat took his eye out. I think it's outrageous that someone would write a book, provoking self-mutilation. At first I laughed, but when I saw that hospital bill "HOLY MOLY" I nearly soiled myself. I mean given that he's 2 months old, I cut him a little slack but still... The doctors insist that my kid isn't retarded he's just "a baby", SUUUURE, like I'm going to fall for that one. If the author of this book would get a life id greatly appreciate it.
Rating: Summary: Great ideas to have educational fun with your child! Review: The book is easy and quick to read, and provides lots of ideas for simple games to entertain both you and your child! Learning to think is the basis for success in any child's educational career and this book provides you with ideas that will positively impact your children's analytical ability. Great for rainy days and car trips. The games are simple but effective, many only requiring pencil and paper, or handy, everyday objects. The kids won't even know they are learning--they will be asking for more! As a mother of two young children, I can highly recommend this book.
