Rating: 4 stars
Summary: Revealing inside look at Surrogate and adoptive families
Review: The author of this book was my professor for my first anthropology course. (I am an anthropology major.) This book, an anthropological study into surrogate motherhood was extremely revealing. Ragone immersed herself in the lives of the biological mothers and the adoptive families shedding light on a subject few truly understand. This book gives you a REAL perspective and clears up the media hype concerning this controversial subject. And excellent, interesting and informative read. Anyone interested in surrogate motherhood or modern reproduction in general, should read this book.
