Rating: Summary: Lacks Depth, Borrow - don't buy Review: From the reviews and excerpt, I was expecting more insight into the specific challenges of multiples. Either there truly aren't that many differences, or this author was just too busy to go into any depth (understandable). This is basically a collection of two-sentence blurbs on everything under the sun. You will not find much that you have not seen in other books, on-line chatrooms, or from talking to 1 or 2 moms of multiples. Save money and borrow a copy if you have an hour or so to kill. That's about how long it will take to read.
Rating: Summary: The best practical guide to caring for multiples! Review: I have read this book from cover to cover and once I started reading, I couldn't put it down! I'm expecting twins in about a month and I wish I would have found this book sooner. I have read several other books about twins and multiples and they all covered mostly pregnancy, childbirth, common pregnancy and childbirth complications, and fetal and infant development. Don't get me wrong, that is good information, but none of the other books give as much practical advice as this one. It gives a lot of money saving advice, shortcuts to make certain tasks easier, and even has a chapter with a list of different companies that offer freebies, discounts and coupons specifically for multiples. The author is a mother of tripltes and a singleton, has held officer positions in several twin/multiple clubs and is a twin herself.
