Review: This book is a description of a program established in 1974 at Long Beach California by the founders. It is a reflection of their pioneer work at a time, when there was very little experience with the treatment of abusing families. The authors started out as unlicensed social workers, but in this historic account you feel that they learned a lot from each other, their co-workers and their clients. This experience can be of benifit to others working with child abuse and neglect.
