Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A must
Review: As the population ages hip fractures are becoming more prevalent. This is a must read for anyone caring for a loved one who's suffered a hip fracture.
As an orthopedic surgeon I'm recommending this book to my patients.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Great support for caregivers and those they love
Review: I stumbled across this book in my local library, while searching for sources of information and guidance as I entered the caregiving relationship with my mother. While our circumstances are somewhat different than the author's, I found this book to be a helpful balance of personal narrative and issue identification and clarification. The scholarly background brings some heft to this very tender story. I bought two copies, one for my brother and one for my caregiver's support group.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Amazingly accurate
Review: My Mothers Hip is a well-written journey into the world of eldercare. Motivated by love, the author encounters the frustrating complexities of the current healthcare system, as she tries to aid each of her aging parents. This is a must-read, as our aging population increases, and family members are sure to encounter similar experiences
