Summary: This is a smooth easy read of victory for family love.
Review: What a warm refreshing rekindling of family values at a time when we seem so helpless against the spread of hate and destruction! This book gives not only hope but shows the simple ways for love to triumph in the battle. Here's one for the dipper!(soup ladel, that is)

Summary: She's right on...
Review: With her assessment that the time honored tradtion of family mealtime is going by the wayside. This book is a light read, warm and motivating at the same time. She offers ideas and memeories all designed to help restore the family tradtion of eating together. And while I do believe she's right on, that as a society we'd be better off if we implemented some of her ideas, there simply wasn't enough there to fill a book. There's little information offered on nutrition, actual food prepreation tips, avoiding TV during the dinner hour, how to's on controlling cranky toddlers, etc. There wasn't enough REAL information. I appreciate the fact that she wrote the book, our society today needs it!
