I now feel that if and when something should ever happen to break apart my family unit that I will have a professional resource in this book. I can only imagine the heartbreak of a grandchild losing contact with loving grandparents. This book is educational, informative and a must read for every Grandparent. Highly recommended.

Review: As the father of two adopted children I'm very sensitive to the loss or potential loss of a child. Having gone through the adoption system I've attempted to pass along my understanding of that process so when I read "Grandparents' Rights" I was thrilled by Dr. Slorahs' step-by-step methodology which guided me through the process of understanding Grandparents rights, as well as non-custodial parents rights. Review: This book reminds us that even in the most loving and secure families, unimagined circumstances can arise that leave you reeling, not knowing how to proceed.
Dr. Slorah provides us with anecdotal reassurance that we are not alone,should we find ourselves in this terribly difficult situation, and a resourse guide on what needs to be done to ameliorate it.
This is one book that we all hope we'll never need but is invaluable if it is needed by us or a friend!

Review: This is a must read for all grandparents - they really do have rights - one of the hardest things in the world is for a grandparent to be cut off from his or her grandchildren simply because of family discord - this book will bring encouragement and hope to thousands upon thousands of grandparents who have been suffering in ignorance - now, they have the opportunity to know exactly what they can do to re-gain those prescious visits with their grandchildren.
