Summary: Riveting, Exciting, and Phenomenal
Review: This book was without doubt, one of the best that I have ever read. At the beginning, the writers say to not rush through the book. However, that is easier said than done. I picked the book up on a Saturday morning, and was finished with it by Sunday night. This book was about real people, real lives, and real stories of success. I loved the book, and am eagerly waiting to obtain the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and other volumes. Thanks to everyone who shared a story, and everyone who shared a part of themselves. You definitely have touched my life in a way that I will never forget.

Summary: It Touched My Heart
Review: This compilation of heart warming stories led me to evaluate my life and re-prioritize those things that are truly important. I have purchased this book for my friends, colleagues, family and indeed business competitors. I just want to share this with as many people possible.

Summary: UPLIGHTING AND INSPIRING STORIES OF LIFE'S LESSONS
Review: This is one of the most inspiring books and I read in some time. The author does a wonderful job of compiling the stories from other authors. After reading these stories you are left with a genuine feeling of inspiration to either become a better individual or look at life from a different perpective. My nine year old daughter was especially moved by this book when I read several stories to her. She was immediately hooked and this became a nightly ritual at bedtime, until the book was finished. She she stiIl enjoys reading the stories over and to other people. I recommend this book highly because it makes you take a closer look at yourself and evaluate what's really important. This should definitely be in everyone's personal library

Summary: "No Can Do without a Good Dose of Soup"
Review: This is simply what everyone needs in a sometimes high-paced, high-pressure environment - a still, small voice of encouragement and inspiration that, no matter what the challenges are, tommorrow can always turn out better than today.

To Messrs. Canfield and Victor Hansen, Thank you.

Summary: LIFE'S MOST UPLIFTING INSPIRATIONAL MESSAGES TO US!
Review: This series of books have wonderful short stories that can make one feel that life is too short to take things for granted, to overlook the simple pleasures before us, and to learn to open our eyes to our own life's experiences. Carefully thought out, each story can inspire you to believe in "Life" and all it contains. I wish this book could be handed out on street corners, and we could all sit back and watch our world change before our eyes. I have introduced this book to others at my workplace, it has spread like wildfire. We went from an office of backstabbing women, to warm, loving "sisters" and know how to communicate better than ever. The two authors of this book's series, each have other books, none of which I would cut short of reviewing in the same rave. We are in a "test-sensitive" world nearing the end of the 20th century, we all need to pull together as one and make our world the most precious home for all children to come. "Chicken Soup for the Soul" is Outstanding! It has inspired me so much, I want to write inspiration myself!

Summary: Have tissues handy!!
Review: What a book!! I loved it! There are so many touching, moving, inspiring, beautiful, heart-wrenching stories, you can't help but cry. I read this book the night before I graduated from college 2 years ago. I couldn't put it down, so I stayed up until 7:00 am and then finally fell asleep with my head in the book. I was on top of the world and I wanted to fill myself with all of the positive things in this world. I was moved by "Puppies for Sale" and "The Hugging Judge" and "All the Good Things." These stories stay with you. If you're a news junkie and are constantly bombarded with bad or sad news, these stories are the glimmer of hope, love, and happiness in a world that sometimes seems uncaring and cold. One last thing: Use as often as necessary for a guaranteed pick-me-up!! You won't be able to quit smiling. It's true therapy!

Review: What a great book!

Jack Canfield is my motivational role model. His love for humanity and his desire to make this world a better place to live is a stunning example of what someone can achieve when he sets his heart to something.

Jack and Mark did a terrific job of compiling really great stories about love, caring and achieving success. Chicken Soup for the Soul is a true classic. If you want some more positive thinking stuff in your life - get a hold of this book today. Reading about love and hope is the only way to combat all the negativity we hear about on the radio and from the media.

Summary: A heart-warming book of stories that touches all genders
Review: When I first caught sight of this book of short stories, my 1st thought was, 'oh, just another one full of mushy, romatic love tales.' I bought it anyway, and much to my surprise, joy and pleasure, it is full of honest-to-goodness true, belieavable, simple life stories. Everything from silliness, love, saddness, cuteness, faith, helpfullness, selfishness, selflessness. It's a wonderfully short, poignant and definitely, heart-warming book. A book that you would chose on a cold, rainy day, if front of a warm, crackling fire, with a mug of steaming, hot chocolate. On second thought, the book will warm you enough without the fire or the hot chocolate! L. Plaski
