Summary: What about Men?
Review: Although I found the preliminary chapter interesting as I progressed I quickly found that this book has a feminist slant to it. I think that if the authors has focused more on a wide variety of individuals for their research, the book would have been more helpful to me. I think having a male perspective somewhere would have been beneficial.

Their work de-mistifies eating by writing in easily understandible english - no need to have a medical background to gain the knowledge understand of your friends and family who suffer from an eating disorder.

Summary: Nothing special
Review: I have read a lot of books on eating disorders and I didn't read anything in this book that I haven't read elsewhere. It is your basic book on eating disorders and not one I would recommend. I feel the authors make eating disorders sound as if they are something simple to overcome.

Summary: great book on an important issue
Review: I was inspired and hopeful after reading Weight Wisdom. This book gives those stuggling with eating disorders, disordered eating and body image issues supportive advice and helpful tips in an accessible and user-friendly format. It is with tremendous understanding and insight that Kingsbury and Williams help to guide readers through the winding journey of recovery and self-acceptance. A wonderful book!!

Review: Just disappointed at what I thought would be new material. The authors pull information and strategies from other self-help resources to create this book.It would have been more helpful if the authors had drawn from their own experience.

Review: The author's of this book make recovery sound so easy that it can be done by anyone and anytime. I think that although they might have had their own issues, it was not to the point of life or death like most eating disorders.
