Summary: A Wonderful Book!
Review: This is one of the sweetest books out there. My daughter and I love to read it together. My only compliant is that this book didn't interest my daughter until around her second birthday, I assume because of the lack of color. The illustrations from an adult perspective thought are beautiful, as is the message.

Summary: Guess how much I love you.
Review: My son needs this read every night before bedtime, and if I don't kiss him when the book prompts, then I get this most stern of looks.

Great length, very fun and lovable, although I know nutbrown hare tends to be a tongue twister for some people.

Excellent book.

Summary: A Great Book No Matter What Your Age!!
Review: I proposed to my wife using this book... The simple, heartfelt discription of love is a welcome respite in today's world of "Playstations" and mindless children's entertainment, and it harkens back to a simpler "ideal" time (that may only exist in our minds...). This is an instant classic, with artwork reminicent of Beatrix Potter - soft, intelligently done watercolors that do not have the crass, materialistic overtones so prominent in many children's books. The dialogue likewise is sweet without being overly so, simple enough for a child, but not in any way similar to the sickening drivel that passes for "poetry" in so many greeting cards. Perhaps my love of nostalgia influences my regard of this book, but nonetheless, it is well executed and powerful in its simplicity.@I highly recommend this book to anyone - young or old.

Summary: You should read this book!
Review: I liked that Little Rabbit was too small to do the things Big Hare did, but it showed how much love they had for each other. Great book to read to someone that you love very much.

Summary: Cute story!
Review: Really cute simple story about a parent trying to show a child about love. My girls (4 and 2) always repeat "I love you to the moon and back, they really like the book!

Summary: I WANTED TO LOVE THIS BOOK, I TRIED TO , BUT................
Review: I was really disappointed. The first time I read it all I could think of while I was reading it was I can't wait for this book to end! It's a really cute story that I'm sure you're familiar with because of how many rave reviews it receives and how many recommendations it gets. But I could not get use to repeating little nutbrown hare and big nutbrown hare over and over again. It became so annoying to me It was almost like a tongue twister and I was wondering if my children could follow after awhile the difference between them both. So I would say baby bunny and daddy bunny instead of little nutbrown hare and big nutbrown hare but that slowed my reading down a bit because I would have to remember to substitute it everytime their names popped up and it happens quite a bit. If I'd screw it up, then I'd make the story sound even more confusing and then just give up. That was my biggest problem with this book. I'm sure I'm not the only one who has felt this way. My Children never begged me to read this story to them. They don't seem to impressed. They should revise it and give the bunnies simpler names that make the story flow easier. As for the reviewers that claim it's terrible because the father is always competing with the child, trying to out do the child's love by winning when he proves how much more He loves the child then the child loves him, I wouldn't listen to that! What child wouldn't want to know that they are loved more than anything in comparison. I just think there are better books out there that describes this kind of love. My recommendation is that you read "I Love You Stinky Face". It's about a son who challenges his mother by asking her "Would you still love me if I were a (examples) skunk, cyclops, dinosaur, alien, ape, ETC. The mother replies by telling him all the actions she would take in comforting and taking care of her child in these situations and that no matter what, her love for him would be just the same and never change! Great Story that my Children keep requesting. It gives them that reassurance that They will always be loved and there is nothing in the world that would ever change that! I know this review seems extra long but I hope it was helpful!

Summary: Did you guess?
Review: This is the story of Little Nutbrown Hare and Big Nutbrown Hare. A preschooler can easily follow the storyline with the illustrations showing the hare's ears and expressions changing throughout the pages.

Guess How Much I Love You is a book to be read all year round showing children of all ages that rabbits are not just talked about around the Easter holiday. For relatives visiting this holiday season, this is a story you can read along and/or to the youngster in your life while getting re-acquainted.

The book starts off in a great way with the young hare going off to bed and wanting to see if the Adult hare was listening to his question, Guess how much I love you. Then the story goes with the Big Nutbrown hare saying he could not guess that.

The little Nutbrown hare was too sleepy to continue thinking and stated he loved the big Nutbrown hare right up to the moon and closed his eyes. The Big hare held him in his arms while looking up at the moon. The little Nutbrown hare then went to sleep on his bed of leaves receiving a kiss good night from the Big Nutbrown Hare.

Truly a great book with many rewards for a parent and child to read together. The lessons of expressing love for a parent and child in the way all can understand. The little hare so wanted to be just like the big hare.
