Summary: Not just a parent child book
Review: On valentines day I was looking for something unique to give to my boyfriend. We like to read to each other, but a novel wouldn't convey the simple and unconditional love I wanted to share with him. When I accidently stumbled upon this boook and it was perfect. Now when we go to bed some nights he will ask me to read it to him. I read the part of Little nut Brown Hare and he reads the part of Big nut brown Hare ( I had to let his read that part because he likes to win). Sometimes if one of us is having a particualry bad day we will stretch out our arms and I say I love you this much.... which leaves you wide open for a hug. I love this book. Someday we will share it with our children.

Summary: ABSOLUTELY MY ALLTIME FAVORITE BOOK!!!!
Review: Guess How Much I Love You is my alltime favorite book for children of all ages. The first time I read it, I almost started to cry!

It's a simple tale about the strong love that a parent has for their child, and there is no love stronger than that.

I'm sure this book will become a classic, I read this to my baby all the time because I love him to the moon and back!!

I highly recommend it to parents and children of all ages for generations to come and have given it as a gift to many new parents.

Summary: The Best Book Ever!!!
Review: We bought this book for our daughter when she was 9 months old. She has loved it ever since. I can say without any doubt, this is her favorite book (she currently has 173 books). She loves it so much that we bought 3 copies of the pop-up version. One for her to play with & read on her own (this one has been glued back together 6 times now), one in good condition that we read to her & a spare just in case something happens to one of the others. Since we live in Singapore, we don't own a car, so we often take taxis or use the subway system. Depending on the time of day, it can take up to 40 minutes to get home. When she has her book, she barely even notices. She is now 15 months old & although she can't read the book, she mimics the sound effects I make when reading it to her at the same places I do them. This was a more than wise investment. We read it together & I believe she is really starting to understand the concept of having parents who love her "up the moon & back!"

Summary: A Sweet Book That Will Melt Your Heart!!
Review: I love reading this book to my 17 month old daughter. The dialogue really touches my heart. Little nut brown hare is so sweet and Big nutbrown hare is such a loving parent. My favorite part is the end....

This is a must have in your child's library that will be enjoyed for years to come. This would make a really great shower gift for a mom-to-be!

Summary: Sweet and endearing
Review: My first reaction to the book was- "It's about time". You see so many childrens books that deal with mothers and their children. There aren't many that show just a father and his child relating to each other sentimentally. Big Nutbrown hare and Little Nutbrown hare are spending what our generation likes to refer to as "quality time" when Little Nutbrown hare tells his daddy how much he loves him. "I love you as high as I can reach!", he says. Big Nutbrown hare says, " love you as high as I can reach", and Little N.B. hare realizes that it's higher than he himself can reach. The rest of the book shows Little N.B. hare telling his daddy how much he loves him and tries to find analogies to express it. If you have kids, you know how your husband is with them when no one else is looking? You know- all goofy and lovey, things he's afraid to let his buddies see? That's what "Guess How Much I Love You" is like- it's like watching a father with his son as they spend time alone, and the father isn't embarassed to fully express his feelings for the child. A wonderful book! It usually comes in 3 formats- hard bound with paper cover, paperback, and board book (my favorite for young children- the hard, thick cardboard is virtually indistructable, even for teething tots).

Summary: The Sweetest Book
Review: This is the sweetest book ever! Although it is rated for young children, I think it is a wonderful book for people of all ages. I bought it for my husband. What a nice way to tell someone you love them.

Summary: A book that builds more than memories
Review: My son is only 18 months old and he stays absolutely still for this whole book. At the end when the parent kisses his child, my boy will look up at me and lay his head against my chest. I actually find myself grieving that he will probably never remember these moments, but I also believe that this book will be part of our nighttime routine for years to come. Being a father doesn't get better than this.

There are children's books that try very hard to pull heart strings and succeed many times with parents while the children are reaching for more interesting fare. But this book has just as profound effect on children as it does on parents. I cannot recommend the pop-up version of this book highly enough.

Summary: A "Must Have" for every child
Review: This is the most wonderful children's book. Almost 20 years ago my son and I began to play the "game" described in this book - finding it in a story a few years ago was a joy! I have gifted this book to at least a dozen children since discovering it... They have since come out with a Baby Book with the same theme as well as a GIANT BOOK too!

You can't go wrong. Read the book to a small person and see if you can get a game of 20 years strong in play to brighten your own life!
