Summary: This is just what I was looking for!
Review: Although I purchased this book almost a year ago, I just wanted to comment that out of all the baby books I had looked at (online and in book stores) this one "fit the bill." It has charts and graphs for everything from teeth to the family tree. Just what I was looking for, as most books now just have lots of pages for pictures but not alot of space for writing. I even wrote the author to thank her for putting together a very needed book of this kind back in the market. She even replied back to me! Anyway, this book very rarely is put away as I am frequently filling in those "first" pages for my son. I plan to buy the "School Year Chronicles" as well so my son will have a wonderful set.

Summary: Not what I expected
Review: As a mother of three small children I have gone through my fair share of good and bad baby books. I bought this for my third son when he was born "thinking' it was a binder baby book as the description states, however don't be fooled by those words as it isn't. It has one of those cheap plastic rings that you can't open and add things to (no sturdy metal rings that open here).

This was very discouraging for me as I have always bbought binder baby books for my children for that exact purpose....to add photos and other extras for great memories. The cover is ugly and the book seems very cheaply made, and the pages are nothing different that what you would see in any other baby book.
Take my advise and pass on this one.

Summary: Perfect and Complete
Review: I have been looking at a lot of baby books, and one thing that bothered me was that most baby books don't have a space on the Family Tree page to acknowledge siblings. In this book, already being a mother of two, I was delighted to see a vast column in which to include baby's brothers and sisters. Also, the colors and graphics in this book are just perfect; not too flowery, no gratingly bright colors, and no actual photos of teddy bears (I hate that)! This book has space for everything: newspaper clippings, baby's horoscope, place for footprints, first haircut samples, and lots of family pictures. :)

Summary: This is the BEST baby book for me!
Review: I love this book so much that I'm buying a second for my second child on the way. What's so fabulous about it is that recording starts during pregnancy...just the basics though: weight gain, heart rate, pictures, etc. I just added my own memories within these same pages. Then, when the baby arrives, there's all sorts of places to start recording memories. Everything from baby's firsts, to monthly pictures for the first twelve months, to feeding and sleeping habits, to medical and dental records. Friends that have tried to make their own baby books from things found in other baby books have been amazed at the topics I suggest - directly from Baby Chronicles. I would highly recommend this book. It's easy to keep up with and allows for lots of journaling and pictures. I find it best to bring it out once a month to keep it up-to-date.

Summary: Another great baby book
Review: I originally went with the Todd Parr baby book (which is funny and hip, but has very little space for all the info/memorabilia you'll collect along the way). After seeing "Baby Chronicles", I changed my mind. The first super feature I noticed is the table of contents- I can't tell you how many times I've surfed through page after page of my other kids' books looking for a particular item. Now, all I have to do is check the table of contents to see where it is. The first page holds Baby's 1st picture and a yellow banner to announce his/her name and date of birth. From there, you'll record everything from Mommy's pregnancy records (if you're that organized- personally, I was fortunate just to get myself dolled up for pre-natal checkups, and that's about it!), to Baby's arrival at the hospital and at home. This book has pages dedicated to Newspaper headlines on Baby's birthdate, the price of milk and gas, and other news and forecasts that your child will grow up to enjoy reading about. Includes a family tree to write down all of Baby's aunts, uncles and cousins, and a picture of Baby's family before he/she arrived. Collect visitors signatures on "My Autograph Page" for Baby. 2 pages are dedicated to "Baby's Firsts". Areas included for Baby's hand and foot prints, 1st bath pictures, before & after 1st haircut photos, introduction to solids, and Baby's "reviews" on them, and a sweet little "Portrait Gallery", pre-labled for photos from 1 month to 12 months, to see how Baby changes in the first year of his/her life. There's also a sturdy plastic sleeve at the end to collect memorabilia, growth charts, dental record pages, and a touching section for Mommy and Daddy to write notes and letters for Baby. A tremendous value for the amount of stuff you get inside. I highly recommend it!

Summary: PERFECT for 2nd child, and on
Review: This book is terrific because it's complete and very easy to fill in. I'm just not one of those moms who is great at writing things down, but I like this book so much most of the important stuff is in there. I especially like the teething chart.
