Summary: You CAN only laugh!
Review: I came upon this book quite by accident. I've not laughed quite as helplessly for a long time. I really got an ache in my side! Her style is simply delicious and the feelings picturised are so familiar that even as you laugh you get that gentle, comforting feeling of having someone understand just what it was like......

Summary: Wall Street Journal Honors Book As A Holiday Gift
Review: In case you missed it, Sue Shellenbarger, the Wall Street Journal's wonderful "Home and Family" columnist, identified a half-dozen books that would make great gifts to working women this holiday season. The second one she discussed was "You Might As Well Laugh." In her November 26 column, here's what Sue Shellenbarger and the Wall Street Journal had to say about Sandi's book: "For frazzled working moms, columnist Sandi Kahn Shelton's funny essays on parenting are a fail-safe way to lighten up. Her keen sense of the absurd transforms the fodder of everyday life, from managing business lunches with a newborn to producing a scale-model Sphinx for a "family homework" assignment, into laugh-out-loud reading."

Summary: Great bedside reading
Review: Sandi Kahn Shelton is just the sort of person I want to hear from at the end of a long day. Her stories about family mishaps made me laugh out loud--and helped me see the humor in my own life, too.

Summary: I laughed 'til I cried!
Review: Sleeping throught the Night is a very funny look at Parenting. I was reading through tears of laughter for the majority of the book! For anyone who is a parent, but especially for new parents who are going through the experience at the same time, this book is a must-have!
