Summary: Vey good but.....
Review: This is a very good book with lots of little helpful hints. It has hints about toddlers, infants, big kids, and tells about choking, games, "Bye Mommy" tips, Sleepy time tips, what to bring, and what questions to ask...all the way to changing a infant/babies diaper. Although this is a good book, before you go babysitting (if this is your first book about babysitting) you should probably do a little more reasearch on Babysitting. Also, I'd defenitly recomend some kind of SafeSitter Course. It is very beneficial for you to take the course because you are more aware of what to do in case of emergency, and parents are more happy to hire and reccomend you if you have graduated from this course. All the while, though, good job on this book!

Summary: Keep the Age in Mind
Review: This is a well written beginning babysitters guide. My problem with it is that it is written for 9-12 year olds and many states require that babysitters be 13 years old and have a babysitting class. If you aren't sure about your state's requirements (or didn't realize they existed), call your local department of Family and Children's Services and ask them the home-alone and babysitting age requirements.
