Rating: Summary: Highly entertaining break from usual technical baby books Review: A highly entertaining book, and a welcome relief from the more usual technical baby books. It is not a one-source book, but a great supplement which even the father and friends will get a laugh out of. In fact, one non-pregnant friend borrowed it, read it cover to cover, and then bought copies for friends
Rating: Summary: It was a pretty funny book. Review: I enjoyed it. It was funny and informative and not too scary like so many other pregnancy books. The author is definitely not an advocate of natural childbirth. It added some much needed light - heartedness to the whole genre of mostly very serious pregnancy books.
Rating: Summary: I was very unimpressed with this book Review: I hate to complain after seeing all the positive reviews but I was really unimpressed with this book, some of the daily tips are funny but I have seen other books since buying this one that I wish I would have bought instead, I would recommend looking around before making a decision on a book such as a pregnancy diary because you only get one chance to get a nice book.
Rating: Summary: Wonderfully informative and funny book Review: I LOVED this book. I had read all the " medical " type books and this provided a great humorous view on the pregnancy experience. It also gave me a realistic picture of what to expect in the delivery room. I purchase this book as a gift for all my pregnant friends to keep them laughing.

Rating: Summary: Wonderful for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time moms Review: I loved this book. I thought it was great. It doesn't give medical advice if that is what you are looking for but it sure will make you laugh. I think it is a must have for every pregnant woman. It helps keep your spirits up. Also nice to have a place to jot down notes about your pregnancy. I will buy it for any of my friends that get pregnant.

Rating: Summary: An excellent book that takes the mystery out of pregnancy. Review: I won't repeat the raves that the other reviewers have for the book, but simply expand on them. I too laughed out loud in most of the sections. But, more importantly, instead of giving the usual boo-scary information that pregnancy books share, the book answered my stranger concerns: is it normal to gag when I brush my teeth and why have I had a stuffy nose since conception. And, she gives some really sensible and friendly advice on what to wear while you're pregnant, why you shouldn't be afraid of the amnio, what you really need to buy for the baby at first and what you'll need at the hospital. The funniest and most honest chapter is Men and Pregnancy. My husband could be the poster boy for it. Don't buy it for medical info (there are plenty of other books for that), but, if you are pregnant, buy it and get some peace of mind
Rating: Summary: a good way to force yourself to keep a daily record Review: If you're not ordinarily a journal or diary keeper, the structure of having a book like this to write in my help you create a wonderful momento for you to read suring subsequent pregnancies, or even for your child - when he or she is old enough to read, that is.
Rating: Summary: The truth shall set you free: Perfect for first-timers Review: It is so refreshing to have honest answers to embarrassing questions. The book was humorous, and blatently honest about all the icky and scary aspects of pregnancy. It's good to know what to expect and know if you are "normal." Humor takes the edge off, and it's somewhat comforting to know what others have gone through. I've loaned the book out several times and everyone has loved it. It comforted friends through pregnancy, and helped me make up my mind not to get pregnant.
