Review: The Joslin Guide to Diabetes: A program for Managing Your Diabetes copyright 1995 (may be updated soon?) is a comprehensive easy to use text designed for the person who has become a patient with diabetes. If you become familiar with the information in this book you can not only manage your diabetes better but you can make meetings with your physican more rewarding for yourself and your physician. This book contains less technical information on pathogenesis etc than the outdated (1989) Joslin Diabetes Manual which may still prove valuable to those so inclined. I highly recommend this book for diabetics and their families.
