Summary: "Amazing Babies" the book shows us what is Normal in babies.
Review: Beverly Stokes beuatifully captures the first 12 months of several normal boy and girl babies. She skillfully reveals how play drives the child to move from total dependence to a social walker/talker. This is a very powerful book to teach new parents and health care professionals the importance of play on the tummy, on the back, and on the side. She shows through pictures the importance of being able to overcome gravity from the head to the feet-a baby's first year work.
