Review: Do not buy this book if you are suffering from PPD. I read it, and all the happy, fluffy affirmations; all of which served to make me feel worse and worse about the fact that I wasn't bonding with my baby, or coping with new motherhood.When the book talks about being frazzled because the baby has spit up on your shoulder, and you are concerned about self-harm it does not help.

Review: I bought this book after the birth of my first child and read it again after the birth of my second. The brief passages and words of wisdom were easy to read and comforting. I was often only awake enough to read a few pages at a time, but loved every word of them. This book will help any new mother know that she is not alone with the issues and feeling she is facing. It made me laugh out loud and cry while reading it-no matter where I was. As a result, I have bought this book for every new mother I know. It is a book that you just want to share with a new mother because you know it will provide her with support and comfort in the wee hours of the morning or late at night. If you are a new mother, or know of a new mother or new-mother-to-be, this is the perfect book!

Review: I bought this book on a day when I was feeling overwhelmed caring for my 10-month old baby. It really hit the spot. As a previous reviewer said, it helped me not feel so all alone, and validated my feelings of frustration, etc. This book is the mental equivalent of a nice hot bath!
