Review: This book ranks among my all-time favorites. One reviewer was right when she wrote "full of every emotion known to man." I could not put this book down. I especially liked that I was unable to predict what would happen. It was full of twists and turns. It disturbs me when I see people write stuff like the below reviewer "a good book for silly women who stay with abusers." My mother was one of those "silly women" and until you've walked a mile in her shoes, you can't judge her. You (nor I) may ever understand her reasons for staying with my abusive father, but it definitely wasnt because she was "silly." This book was a healing of sorts for me. Now I will pass it on to my mom and maybe it can do the same for her. By the way, I also think its a great book even if you've never been abused. Its simply an entertaining read. Do your thang Ms. Billingsley. You now rank among my favorite authors!

Review: This book really shows how holding on to the past really affects the present, as well as the future. It is definitely true to life. I read this book in about 3 hours. Great first effort! I know there's more where that one came from!!

Review: This is an incredibly written story about a family who suffers an extremely horrific tragedy that affects the lives of each and every member. It's a story about survival and maintaining one's sanity and developing the strength to move forward. It's about dealing with life long affecting issues up front and center and learning forgiveness in order to put the past behind you. The characters are so individual and lively that they engulf you from the first page.Creatively written, MY BROTHER'S KEEPER is a real true page turner that is bound to leave readers in "AWE" of the authors ability to sweep you in from the very first sentence! A definate "MUST READ" that deserves more than 5 stars.

Summary: Excellent book and a fast read.
Review: This is one of those books that you want to rush through, because you can't wait to see what happens next. I loved Aja's character and I'm glad she found a soul-mate in Charles. I was sad for Eric. I wished that the nba had been inthe future for him and since it wasn't I was disappointed the he couldn't have dealt better with that fact. I was really surprised to find out what he had done at the end. I understand how hard it was for Aja to try and forgive Gerald, she no longer had a mother because of of him. I felt her pain for Eric, Jada and her mother. This was an excellent story line and conclusion. Not a dull moment. This is the first book that I have read by: Reshonda Tate Billingsley and I recommend that you buy it, you will not be disappointed. Reviewer for ARAROJAX: Rae Evon

Review: This novel grabs you from the beginning and keeps you turning the pages. I stayed up all night reading it and finished it in two days! I love the way the author shows us the other side of the abuser. The struggles he endures. This is a must-read!

Review: This was a very interesting book with life-like characters, problems, and outcomes. It dealt with the issue of abuse and its effects in a very believable manner. I was so enthralled, that I read it cover to cover in 2 days! I can't wait for her next novel because this one was a definite A+ !!!

Review: This was one of the absolute best books I've read in a long time. It provided me with the relationship fiction I love reading while at the same time tackling some serious issues. I felt myself crying, rooting for and cursing out the main character, Aja. Ms. Billingsley is a vivid writer who had me engrossed in her lyrical storytelling abilities. I look forward to reading more books from this writer! Definitely go get get this book!!!!!

Review: What can be said about, "My Brother's Keeper"? It is an excellent narrative about an average black family. The author literally makes you feel each character come to life. Their actions, reactions and consequences are so true.
You hate when they hate. You cry when they cry. And you try to move on when they try to move on.
