Review: The author makes many references to God in this book. As someone trying to logically deal with a tendency to control, I found the religious references annoying and useless. For me, psychology and theology don't mix. If I want to read about God, I'll pick up a bible. I purchased this book to tell me why I feel the need to control everything and what I can do to stop, not to use "God" as some kind of crutch to avoid the hard work of actually trying to solve my problem.

Summary: Must Read!!!!
Review: This book is fabulous for anyone dealing with any kind of co-dependence issues, self-esteem issues and just issues with the way you were raised by your parents in general. It is not a blaming book for the past, but a real planning book for the future. It absolutely changed my whole attitude about life, love and how to deal with both of them. I can't wait to read more books by Mr. Miller and his wife.
