Review: as well as relaxation :-) i quite honestly do not remember how i came about this book, but i can say that it is one of my oldest son's most loved books for bedtime reading (he's 5). ever since we started reading these meditations (about 2 years ago), bedtime has gone smoother and is less of a fight for the both of us. he likes it when i read more than one 'story' so we've taken to shortening the star prelude enough to where it still conveys the message of relaxation, but allows for more 'story' time. i could go on and on, but i would be rambling. let's leave it at this is a great book and i would recommend it highly :-)

Review: I bought this book for my daughter to read to her toddlers, but sent it back to Amazon immediately. The idea of a Guardian Angel is quickly introduced in the book and is a theme throughout. If you believe in teaching about angels to a two year old, this book is for you. It definitely wasn't for us.

Rating: ![4 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-4-0.gif) Summary: Great Book! Review: I had high hopes for this book when I first purchased it, and I wasn't disappointed. I am a classroom teacher in a testing grade. I thought a little meditation would help my students relax. I knew they were tense about taking upcoming tests. This book helped me relax them, and opened up a door to something they had never done before in the classroom. They eagerly anticipated the next journey we would take in our daily meditation efforts. This book has wonderfully detailed descriptions and uses all kinds of imagery. It is beautifully spiritual without being specifically religious.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: great even for an 8 year old Review: I just found this book on my book shelf. I bought it years ago and forgot about it. I've been reading it to my 8 year old (almost 9 year old) son who is often quite anxious and has trouble falling asleep. He absolutely loves it. He asked me tonight if he could have it for his own kids when he has them and wants to read it to them starting when they are babies. How's that for a testimonial? I also really enjoy reading it to him. It's a relaxing, special time for us and seems to be bringing us closer to each other, after just a few nights of reading it.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: Imagination Review: I love reading the unique and creative meditations in this story to my children. They are whimsical enough to get my children excited yet calming enough to help them fall asleep quicker. Each story is just the right length to keep their attention while they activate their imaginations. I have read the stories in Moonbeam over and over again.
When I am too tired or busy to read I also use the
audio book/CD "Indigo Dreams".
Chidren can't get enough of these feel good, relaxing stories and neither can I!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A Godsend for Parents Review: I wasn't sure about this book at first, I didn't think my son would like a book with no pictures. But after the first week of reading this just before he went to sleep, he started asking specifically for it. He even asks for other stories that he can close his eyes and just listen to. His creativity is showing itself in so many ways, now. And as an added bonus, he actually looks forward to bedtime. I encourage every parent to try one of Ms Garth's meditation books.
