Rating: Summary: Enlightening and Empowering to both Parents and Children Review: Recently, I wrote Ms. Meltz regarding one of her regular parenting columns in the Boston Globe. Then, I remembered that I had a copy of her book, Put Yourself In Their Shoes, and e-mailed her the following day: I am glad that Dr. Brazelton encouraged you to undertake your column and predicated that you would write a book. I bought your book for reference purposes and I want you to know that I enjoy referring to it. To me, it is a breath of fresh air. You share information and observations WITH parents, about their children, in a refreshing manner .... with a voice that is empathetic to both ... you don't talk AT them. Thanks again.Regards, Elizabeth Milligan Maynard, MA
