Summary: A must read for every women planning a family
Review: This book is for every Bride and every women whom is thinking about having children. Read this book while you are young and you may be able to protect your reproductive health when you are ready to have children (particularly if you are going have them later in life). If I had read this book BEFORE I had problems getting pregnant, I could have shaved a year of the process and gotten help sooner. This will help you plan your pregnancy so it is healthy for you and your baby

Summary: Mixed emotions
Review: This book is so informative...very easy to read and put in a logical order that was interesting to read. Yet I can say I have mixed emotions about the book. Although I found it informative, I also found that it overwhelmed me with so many different possible fertility problems...things I had never thought of before. I suppose this whole situation is overwhelming at times, so it might be normal to feel that way. I do wish anyone luck who buys this book for themselves.

Summary: I highly recommend this book for infertile couples!
Review: This book is very well-written and easy to understand. It contains information about natural conception, threats to your fertility, strategies to increase your fertility, and lots of material regarding assisted reproductive technologies. I found it very easy to read and understand. I also enjoyed the book's positive outlook. As I continue to struggle with my own fertility, this is the book I use as a resource most often.

Summary: Overkill!
Review: This book provides some wonderful information, in a very easy-to-digest format. The section on the pre-conception exam is great- you'll know what to expect, and how to make sure your doctor isn't overlooking something important. I also liked the attention on male fertility issues, which are often ignored. However, the first half of the book is esentially "you could be infertile, and not even realize it!" It describes the fertility problems caused by cysts, endometriosis, etc., and lists the very common symptoms (gee, who hasn't had headaches or heavy periods?) and stresses how frequently women have these diseases without realizing it. Halfway through the book, I was convinced I had every problem listed. The authors' approach may be helpful if you're having difficulty getting pregnant and want to educate yourself on possible causes, but I think for most people it's really overkill.

Summary: Great resource
Review: This is a well-written, clear, and informative resource on preconception, conception, and alternative methods available. Some of the more unique suggestions are very interesting to read, too! Suddenly, conceiving a child didn't seem like a mysterious event that we had hardly any control over. After reading this book, I felt more prepared and more informed about my own reproductive "life." Plus, if it didn't happen soon, I was aware of other methods to try. After two months of taking the suggested vitamin/mineral supplements, tracking my temperature via the BBT method, and following a few other sensible guidelines the author suggests, we are now expecting our first baby.
