Review: When I first thought about homeschooling, I only knew Linda Dobson's name. I was all excited to get her books. But I was later disappointed. Her books (including this one) lack "meat" and are way too vague. There's a lot of fluff and I didn't really find anything that was particularly helpful or informative. I suppose it's a good, VERY basic introduction. But that's about it. The main thing that I did not appreciate about the author is her heavy unschooling bias. Not everyone is into unschooling. To the new homeschooler, that can be a real turn-off.
