Summary: If you only buy one brain injury book this ought to be it.
Review: A very useful book and one of the few that does an excellent job of integrating theory with application. As such, it is useful for the practitioner as well as parents of children with brain injury (though it is written at a college level). Ylvisaker and Szekeres' chapter "Frameworks for Cognitive Rehabilitation" is excellent. Likewise, Marshall's chapter provides a good description of the recovery continuum and all the chapters on intervention offer more practical advice that ranges from low tech to high tech solutions.
