Summary: Made me laugh (And I needed that! )
Review: I picked up this book while at the library with my kids...I will definately purchase it to read over and over.....I am a single mother of three..beginning when I had a six yr old , 2 yr old, and was six months pregnant with my third... I have read quite a few books on this subject but this book made me actually smile and laugh about my very situation that usually makes me cry....The authors humor and honesty just makes her advice seem very real and I enjoyed reading it....it gave me a positive uplifting attitude about my situation, in a realistic way..

Summary: This is the most encouraging book I've ever read!
Review: I felt like this book was written just for me! Being a single mom of a 7 year old boy, sometimes I wonder if I really am doing a good job. This book made me realize that I am and that I will be able to get through anything because this one of that hardest, but most rewarding experiences that I will ever have in life. I think that one of the best things that I got from this book is, I am not the only one going through this and it will all be O.K.

Summary: So true to the life of a single mother!
Review: This book was insightful, funny and so very true to a single mother. It made me laugh and cry, but most of all it made me realize that I am now, and will be in the future successful in raising my son. Thank you for letting me realize that it is ok to be a single Mom and that we can raise our gifts from God successfully! This book has truly changed my life.

Summary: A little intro to a great book!
Review: Hi Everyone!

I want first to just say Hi..As a single mother since my son's birth 8 years ago, I really know the trials and the triumphs of this journey we are all on. I promise you will love my book. I wrote it for all of you. My first book God Made Easy hopefully has done just that( made God Easy) for thousands of people world wide and now to tackle single motherhood! I can't make it easy for you but I promise that my book will help lighten the load. The Single Mother's Survival Guide is quite simply...that. A poignant, funny, and ultimately helpful book to assist all single mothers as they tread the difficult and challenging waters of parenting alone. The style of the book is down to earth, spiritually comforting and easy to read, with a lot of "we can do it sisters!" energy thrown in... ( do single mothers have time for anything but?) covering just about every subject of interest to single mothers. With over 15 million single mothers in the United States alone this book can help lot of women and their children. The Single Mother's Survival Guide is the perfect gift for every single mother or one that she should buy for herself. Unlike so many thick, dry texts, this book is a fun, deeply touching, enlightening and inspiring and the women ( and perhaps single dads that may get it too) will have a book that works like a tool that feels like a friend ready to chuckle with, cry with and refer to over and over again. God bless you all and keep the faith!

Love,

Patrice Karst

Summary: I love this book!!!!
Review: Ok, i bought the book because i wanted some inspiration and some ideas on how to cope with being a 28 year old single mother of 2 boys. And what i am getting (i am not even done yet) is alot of humor. She makes some really good points so far and this book offers some useful tips on spotting losers and avoiding them as potential Mr. Right's, the need to keep your house clean and the decision to make this enjoyable instead of a God awful experience. She is very real and very funny. The humor alone is worth it.

Summary: Choose a Better Book
Review: I bought two other books at the same time and found both of them to very useful, particularly The Complete Single Mother. I also recommend Single Mothers by Choice. I found this book to be dismissable. It gives very little usable advice and trivilizes serious problems. Please read the other one star ratings before wasting your money.

Summary: A Must Read !!!!
Review: As a single, working mother of a toddler, I have little time for myself and can't even think of picking up one of those hundreds of pages, tiny lettered books that give me advice on how to deal with being a single mother. Fortunately, I found The Single Mother's Survival Guide. I easily read it in one evening and found it to be incredibly helpful to me. I laughed, I cried, and I found myself feeing so proud of all that I have been able to accomplish, on my own, for my son(and for myself.)

If you are a single mother, you must give yourself a gift and buy this book. Trust me, it will help you.
