Not only does Barbara Littman explain why girls are the way they are, she gives suggestions on how to raise girls to be confident in themselves and to be proud of who they are. The suggestions are do-able and simple. The book is truly a usable handbook that can be read in a short amount time with additional resources added in the back of the book. I am recommending this book to all my friends with daughters!
