Summary: Too Technical/impersonal- can't relate to anything
Review: I was disappointed to read this book and didn't even finish it because it was so impersonal and techinical. There is nothing redeeming about this book unless you're a physician who understands all the jargon. I am looking for a more *human* book that can help me on a more personal level - any suggestions?

Summary: One of two must have endo books
Review: If you only get two books on endo get this one and One Woman's Journey by Jennifer Lewis. The two compliment each other greatly, and both contain very useful information and offer different views on dealing with endo. good book.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: An excellent resource for learning about this disease.
Review: If you think you have endometriosis, have it, or live with someone who does ... buy this book. You will learn all of the current medical procedures, as well as the history of this puzzling disease. Many women live in pain every month and doctors lack the knowledge to help. Help yourself, read this book, and find a doctor who will listen to you. This is an especially good resource for husbands/mates trying to understand the pain their wives/partners suffer.

Summary: If you only buy ONE book on endo, let this be it!!
Review: Looking for complete and accurate information on Endometriosis can be difficult, since many books are outdated. However, the Endometriosis Association's Sourcebook is the BEST resource I have found so far. Although the book is terribly full of information, you can read the chapters that you want to know more about one at at time, to really absorb all of the material. And it is NOT boring, like an encyclopedia because this book incorporates real stories, current research, and even humerous cartoons to make the information relate back to the reader.

Summary: A must-have in any endo library!

Summary: Great Book for the Newly Diagnosed
Review: This has been a great book for me. I was recently diagnosed with Endomitriosis and will have surgery Jan 4 to remove an ovarian cyst most likely caused by Endomitriosis.

This is a great book for beginning, being able to just turn to topics that interest me and take in the information as I needed helped me digest it better. I even interviewed the surgeon performing my surgery next month with questions outlined in the book. I'm so glad I bought it. Gave me a much better understanding of the types of treatments, what to expect after surgery, and beyond.

I highly recommend this book for anyone diagnosed with Endomitriosis.
