Review: When I read this book, I had endured so much pain already, I needed to evaluate whether I could see this relationshiop through to life after the divorce. I had actually accomplished many of the author's suggestions already by simply praying for clarity and talking to my girlfriends. Reading this book validated me and my feelings. I hoped this book would help me to hang on. What happened was that I got a big reality check, delivered with compassion. I saw strong potential for becoming the "transitional woman". When I tried to "put the relationship on hold", my decision was not respected by my partner. His unsupportive reaction gave me the strength to end the relationship. Now I am reading books to mend my broken heart! Despite the pain, confusion, hearbreak and disappointment, I am relieved that I considered my options carefully and I am grateful that I followed my well-informed heart. This book was a godsend to me. Thank you to the authors!
