Summary: Best of Four
Review: I have read four books on this subject and have to say this is the best and most realistic. This not to say that the others did not contribute to understanding the problem, but this book seemed to take a view from several different sides of the issue which helped me understand our position as well as the other players in our personal story. Our next step is to find local meeting to compare notes. Thank you Sally for your objective view.

Review: Once I started reading the book, I really did not want to put it down. I have been given custody of my granddaughter and I needed help, not only with understanding the dynamics of our relationship, but how to help me deal with the adult child. If you are a gparent raising a gchild, get this book. It has a list of helpful resources and was written by a person who was raised by gparents. The insights were right-on and thought provoking. I then handed it to my husband, the PaPa and he is now reading it.

Review: Who ever thought that I would consider raising my grand daughter. This book has the information to help my wife and I weight the pros and cons of our decision. One of the first items we found useful was on if you are doing the right thing. After reading the right and wrong reasons and finding that we were right in line with all the right reasons we knew this was the right book. It will help anyone going though such a difficult decision.
