Summary: A Great Workbook!
Review: I never thought workbooks really work. I am on Step 6 in this book, and I am really beginning to notice a difference. I still have a negative body image, but I'm beginning to realize how much of my problem is related to my thoughts as opposed to my actual body. This book speaks to me on a very personal level, and has helped me realize that several people struggle with the same problem I do. I don't think I'll be totally cured by the time I finish the book, but I do think I'll improve my body image each day by practicing the steps in the book. It's a long process, but I truly believe this book will help me learn to love my looks!

Review: I was recently hospitalized for an eating disorder. In the hospital we did a lot of work dealing with body image and how to improve it. Upon admittance to the hospital I was given a stack of book, and The Body Image Workbook was one of them. We did exercises in it everyday. It was hard work, but well worth it. This book forces you to look at parts of your life that you never thought were related to how you feel about your self. I continue to do exercises in it daily even now that I am out of the hospital. I reccomend this book for anyone struggling with an eating disorder or body image issues. This would also be a great book to work on with a therapist and let them have insight into your responses.
