Review: As a mother of two small children, I read this book along with a bunch of others to get a broad basis of "how to be a good parent". Well, this book has transferred over into my "non-parenting" life. I love the statement about life is like driving a car, you drive looking forward, not always looking backward through the rearwindow.... I have given away four copies to various friends and family!

Review: I read this book about 2 years ago. I started using his techniques first with the kids. Boy what a difference! The kids responded great. Next I tried it on my employees, it worked great with them too. This is such a gentle way to get the kids and employees to behave in the manner in which you need them too. Thanks Steve for making life at home and work much better. My kids are just entering the teenage years and I think these techniques are going to make these years quite managable.

I have encouraged everyone I know to read this book. I believe that if one out of every ten people in our country read this book, we would see dramatic changes in society...quite possibly less depression, less violence, and an overall improvement of the emotional health of society. This book in invaluable.
