Summary: So much to read, so much to learn
Review: This book does a great job in trying to present the incredible amount of information surrounding pregnancy. It's organized extremely well, and covers many of the subjects and areas one would expect... and then some. I highly recommend it. I also highly recommend the video version of this book which I luckily had a chance to see a promotional copy of. Almost 4 hours in length, most of the same material is covered in a way that is far less difficult to absorb. It's well worth viewing. That said, the best approach is getting both. While the video presents the info wonderfully, the book is a fantastic research tool thoughout the course of a pregnancy. Together, they add up to more than their parts individually. Fantastic!

Summary: This is a terrific book !
Review: This book is a wonderful synopsis of pregnancy. It presents pregnancy in a realistic and upbeat way. It is funny, informative, easy to read, and thorough. The ultrasound pictures are a nice addition as most women have at least one during their pregnancies. As a childbirth educator and lactation consultant, I look forward to recommending this book over some others on the market..... My only wish is that they would write one for mothers expecting multiples and other high risk situations... All in all, a great read.

Review: This book is extremly well written. I am in a child devolopment class and my teacher uses the movie "Pregnancy for Dummies" to explain important conecepts. The book makes all the medical terminology simple to understand. You can't go wrong with this book.

Summary: Very Helpful at 3 AM
Review: This book was recommended to me by my OB/GYN, and I found it to be very helpful when I would freak out in the middle of the night... I particularly appreciated the fact that all the scary-but-rare stuff was put in one chapter at the end, so you could look it up if you needed to, but you didn't have to encounter it when you were looking for more routine information. Too many other pregnancy books have the scary-but-rare information throughout, so you spend time worrying needlessly.

Summary: Fantastic most informative, easy to read with a lot of humor
Review: This is by far the best pregnancy book on the market. I would highly recommend this book to expecting parents. It's wonderful how it takes you through each trimester. It is one of the only books the holds me the father's attention. If I was in NYC, I would be knocking at their door at Mt. Sinai to take us through this period in our lives.
