Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Glib, superficial, and patronizing Review: Contextually, this book little more than a glorified PowerPoint presentation. And substantively, it is chock full of glib, superficial advice freely given by someone who has no idea what she's talking about. Karen Salmansohn totally blows it in her introduction when she reveals (or at least implies) that she has never personally experienced the combined joys and nightmares of pregnancy. Guess what? I'd find her advice on wearing a bikini a lot more useful if I knew that she personally had once weighed so much that she could fight as a Light Heavyweight.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Don't waste your money! Review: Definitely buy this book - it will cheer you up in a heartbeat! It's a very fast read, and well worth it, combining practical advice and information with some funny feel-good fluff and cute pictures mixed in. Contains some secrets I hadn't read in any of the multitude of other pregnancy books I've poured through! If you want to feel like a sexy, voluptuous, fertility goddess, then get this book!

Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: LOVE LOVE THIS BOOK! HELPFUL INFO QUICKLY! Review: I got all sorts of pregnancy books as gifts and this one quickly became my favorite because ...well..it was so quick to read and understand. I got the most valuable information speedily and later when I read all the other loooooong books I truly appreciated thi sbook because it said everythign I needed to know so concisely. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK! Not only as a gift but something every pregnant woman should buy herself.
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: a fun, helpful, gorgeous book Review: I got this book as a gift and at first thought it was just a cute book. Then I read it and realized it was more than just a pretty cover. I learned insightful tips on improved nutrition, special safe exercises to keep my body feeling like a hot mama body...and speaking of...some sex tips that were really a big bonus for my husband as well as me. :-) Although this book is short it says so much. It pretty much answers every single quesiton a pregnant woman has...and does so much more quickly than the super long books I got. I recommend this book to pregnant women everywhere!!
Rating: ![2 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-2-0.gif) Summary: It's not what you think Review: I have to agree with some other reviews here in that this book was a disappointment. I thought it was going to be a normal-sized book when I ordered it, but it actually took me about 20 minutes to read. Oh sure, it's attractive with lots of cute pictures, but if you're thinking like I was that it was going to give you lots of ideas on how to be a "Hot Mama," forget it because it just doesn't. I received no new information, which is what I normally read for, ya know. Although I do agree with the other reviews that say it would make a great baby shower gift - it is a fun little book. But there's really nothing more to say about it except if you really must read it, you could probably get it from the library and save your money.
Rating: ![1 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-1-0.gif) Summary: Don't waste your money! Review: I was looking forward to getting my hands on this book with the expectations of finding useful tips on beauty and maternity fashion. It was a big disappointment. It doesn't tell you anything that you don't already know (e.g. be proud of your voluptuous body, make the most of your glowing skin, wear cool clothes, etc.). There is no substance to how to achieve these suggestions.
Rating: ![3 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-3-0.gif) Summary: Better as a Gift for Someone... Review: This book is cute for what it is - a GIFT BOOK. It's small in size and has lots of cute graphics. As a gift, it's a perfect little pick-me-up, but for anything else - don't bother. It's literally a 5 minute read. You won't find any information in this book that will really help you with your pregnancy - if you're buying it for yourself, do yourself a favor and spend your money on a quality pregnancy book like What to Expect When You're Expecing or even Vicki Lovine's Girlfriend Guide to Pregnancy - though, you may find the latter a bit more depressing - it's a bit TOO honest for my tastes! Especially if you're looking to feel like a HOT MAMA!
Rating: ![5 stars](http://www.reviewfocus.com/images/stars-5-0.gif) Summary: A refreshing change Review: Tired of pregnancy books that take pregnancy a little too seriously? This book is a refreshing change and makes a great shower gift for your expectant girlfriend. Very fun!
