Summary: Saved my Sanity!
Review: After a year of trying to get pregnant I finally decided to be more proactive and buy some books. I bought this book and another at the same time. I read this one first, I followed everything the author said to do and was pregnant the same month! It is written for couples that have no fertility problems just lack of information and bad timing. It is easy to read and understand! I would reccommend this to anyone who wants to get pregnant quickly!!

Summary: A GODSEND
Review: After months of trying to conceive our second child, a friend sent me this book. Having easily conceived our first child with the use of ovulation predictor kits, my husband and I thought we knew everything we needed to know about conception. I was amazed at how much information this book contains that I had never heard before. For instance, I never knew that a woman's caffiene and alcohol consumption can affect her fertility. That is just one of the numerous ways in which this book was helpful. It also contains great information about the various sex selection techniques that have been used throughout the years. I am happy to report that we are now expecting our second child! Thanks Dr. Williams!

Summary: Got Pregnant the First Month We Tried!!!
Review: After reading some overwhelming and looonggg books on fertility and pregnancy, I appreciated Dr. William's no-nonsense advice on the subject. Yes, it is definitely aimed towards an audience void of fertility challenges, but it will please the masses with some great information and very prescriptive advice. What I really liked was that it emphasizes how to use technology (ie/ovulation prediction tests) in conjunction with reading your body's fertility signs. My husband and I took the advice to heart and were pregant after one month of trying! Perhaps it was dumb luck but perhaps it was being armed with some great information and advice from this book. I highly recommend and have lent it to my friends several times...with lots of success from them as well! Good luck!

Summary: Very informative and easy to read!!
Review: As the parents of two children, 11 and 7, we decided we wanted another child, I had no idea how to plan getting pregnant, I hadnt planned it the two previous times, I was just pregnant! With maturity we wanted to plan this out step by step and be aware of the various processes and steps our bodies went thru. This book was it for us!! It is great. It explains everything easily and in plain english!! We arent pregnant yet (it has only been one month) but we are much better informed and educated!! Thank you so much for this book!! I recommend this book for any couples attempting to get pregnant!!

Summary: Don't bother
Review: Dr. Williams' book provides little more than an eighth-grade level introduction to the male and female reproductive systems. If you have even a BASIC knowledge of what your and your partner's parts do, you needn't waste your time on this book. If you are truly interested in the best way to go about conceiving you should read Taking Charge of Your Fertility by Toni Wechsler. Her book is far more informative and explains how to monitor your own fertility signs to best improve your chances of achieving pregnancy.

Summary: It Works! It Really Works!
Review: Dr. Williams' new book answered all of mine and my husband's questions in a very insightful and easy to understand book. Its a really easy read and not so scientific as to lose our interest. And we certainly had fun implimenting his advice! A great book for all couples to invest in. Thanks Doc!

Summary: Only if you cannot afford a better book
Review: I bought 2 books at the same time; the highest ranked fertility book on this site and then this one. This pales in comparison to the details of the other. This book is VERY basic and is probably nothing new if you've talked with any doctor or gotten on the internet. To sum it up this book is about nutrition and sex often...and we all know those basics. I rated it a 2 because it does at least discuss reasons for infertility. But, if your not getting pregnant within 3 months anyway, it is still good to discuss this with your doctor, so you don't waste valuable time. I would have if I'd have waited 1 year like this book suggests. The other book enabled me to begin charting and it saved me from wasting a year of trying to get pregnant!!

Summary: It worked
Review: I bought the book on December 28th and found out I was pregnant on February 6th.

Summary: The best of the bunch
Review: I bought them all and this was the only one that had really practical advice about ovulation prediction. We did what the author suggested - and I'm pregnant. This is the one to buy.

Summary: Great book!
Review: I bought this book after a good friend recommended the book, about a month before my husband and I started trying to get pregnant. The book was very clear and concise. It was an easy and understandable read. Although I knew the basics of getting pregnant, this book had very helpful tips. We got pregnant the first month we started trying!
