Review: I have all four editions of this book and have found it to be the most complete book for "diagnosing" symptoms. The book is laid out wonderfully so that you are able to easily find what you are looking for. I highly recommend it.

On each page for each different heath problem it has: definition, body parts involve, sex and age most affected, signs and symptoms, cause, risk increases with, how to prevent, diagnostic measures, appropriate heath care, possible complications, probable outcome, general measures, medication, activity and call you doctor if. Review: This book is an excellent resource to take much of the "unknown" out of medical tests etc. It clearly details what will be done and what to expect. Knowing these things puts one in more control and makes it a less frightening experience.
