Summary: Excellent Guide
Review: A very easy read and can be broken down to 10 sessions for a book study. 10 Secrets is filled with real life examples on how to better your life and seek God's purpose for your life. Pat Morley gets to the bare bones and challenges men to make the correct changes needed to make their life meaningful and significant. Unless you're the one in 100 million that has all their ducks in a row, I highly recommend this book.

Summary: Wow! Thanks Pat Morley
Review: I just reread the evaluation from the previous evaluator and in spite of the less than flattering review I obtained a copy. I am not sure that he and I were reading the same book! Pat Morley's excellent presentation of the issues that we men face are to say the least useful and helpful. I found the antidotal stories refreshing and concise to the 'secrets' discussed. It is by no means any 'new age philosophy' but is a book that is well anchored in the belief that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. I did not find it to be a 'preachy-type' of book, but I found it to be refreshing and thought prevoking. The questions at the end of the chapters were well thought out. I have just started reviewing one question and it is causing me to deeply search God's word to find God's will, my responses will certainly be helpful in my bible study group. With the antidotal stories used, the judicious use of appropriate scriptures and the warmth of Morley that comes through the pages, I can warmly recommend this book to any Christian who is seeking to deepen his walk with his Lord.

Summary: Ten Secrets for the Man in the Mirror
Review: Ten Secrets is an encouragement. Men usually have a difficult time being transparent and open with their feelings and with their Christian Walk. This book guides you through ten thought provoking principals regarding your walk. It is balanced instruction requiring you to look toward real understanding and an opportunity to apply it in your everday life.

What good is "learning or knowledge" if you cannot trust in Him and apply your trust in your everyday life? It illustrates how men think, operate and function. Many of these "successes" are cultural successes and once achieved seem to be hollow victories. What good are successes if you are on "guard" worrying about the next one. Where or when will it come, how will I get there and will this one fail?

Ten Secrets guides you through the real meaning of happiness and success. Ten Secrets helps you understand God's success. I am pleased that trees are God's and he will supply all that are necessary to further His Word.

Read, study, ponder, reflect, the Ten Secrets; and then see if true happiness is not within your reach.

Summary: Ten Secrets for the Man in the Mirror
Review: This book is something that could have been written thiry years ago. It is thick with old time religion of the Chatholic/Christian faiths.. It sadly is limited to a couple faiths and fails to mentions anything about eastern type religions or others. Its messages of blind obediance, missplaced loyalty and compulsive caregiving are far from the truth of what God was trying to say. I understand where the writter's fellings come from and hope that persons reading this book will take some time to examine how balanced they are and not rush to follow this books ten secrets.. From the begining of the book it is clear that the author wants you to think in a very limited and narrow way. Persons or animals looking to think outside the box are looked down upon, how far from the truth.. You may want to stay away from this book and look for somthing that will help you in an effort to find balance and peace in your life - then you will be willing and inspired to go help others and help others find their truth.

Zero Stars --Waste of good trees to print this one.

Summary: Morley reveals true happiness and how to attain it.
Review: Why does God bless some men and not others? More important, why would God want to bless you? He does want to bless you--but maybe not for the reasons you think. In this paradigm-busting book, best-selling author Patrick Morley challenges your comfort zone with neglected biblical insights about happiness many have been afraid to utter in this "me first" generation. You already know that money and stuff won't make you happy, don't you? Are you ready for some reality?

True happiness has everything to do with the kind of many you are--and "whose" man you are. You can live for yourself all your life and in the end come up empty-handed. Or you can let God lead the way, and discover the happiness you've always longed for.

Ten Secrets for the Man in the Mirror reveals the true nature of happiness and how to attain it. It helps you discover the "blockage points" that can keep you from the joy God intends, and it guides you toward success that matters. gifted at speaking to the gut-level issues that men face, Patrick Morley sheds light on ten important areas of your life: Lordship, Balance, Vocation, Suffering, Discipleship, Stewardship, Witnessing, Service, Humor, Love.

Ten Secrets for the Man in the Mirror offers life-changing insights in a frank, engaging style. And it's concise enough to read on a single plane trip.
