Summary: Arrogant tone obscures probably useful information
Review: When my doctor diagnosed my hypothyroidism, my wife bought me this and another book on thyroid disease to help me understand what was happening to me. The authors write with an annoying lack of humility -- the text seemed to be as much about these doctors' superior knowledge as about thyroid disease itself. I was put off by this arrogant tone and did not finish the book. The other book, _The Thyroid Solution_ by Ridha Arem, is a much better choice.
