The oldest child, not quite 3 years old at the time, was the first to try to wake her that morning. How do you help a little child understand death and loss - what do you say? What should you not say? I needed specific answers and detailed explanations to guide my nephew through this horrible time for all of us. The author not only verified my instinct to be honest with my nephew, but also encouraged me to become a grief-model for him.
