Review: There are books with loads of advice but few techniques that one can truly implement. This book isn't one of those. We as parents need to watch ourselves, because we are our child's role models. This book opens our eyes to subtle unhealthy messages that unbeknowest to us we may be passing on to our kids .

Review: "How to Behave" has truly changed our lives. My 9 year old is working so hard and the charts have made it so painless! His teacher even has one for the areas he needs improvement at school! He's earning an allowance, gets points on his home checklist and he's so proud of his accomplishments!! This is our third week with the charts and he's truly a new and improved kid. Summary: I highly recommend this book.
Review: This book made a radical difference in my discipline of my little boy. Following the author's advice allowed me to feel in control of the discipline process, a crucial step toward effective discipline. Sal Severe focuses on positive reinforcement but also gives advice for dealing with problem behavior. There are some chapters which aren't relevant to very young children; however, the book covers children of all ages. I would highly recommend this book to any parent. The most important thing to know before reading this book is that you should be prepared to make changes in your own life in order to change your children.

Summary: The one I take to baby showers in the future!
Review: I just finished How To Behave So Your Children Will, Too!. I have to say this is one of the best books I have ever read. I have three children, ages 18, 5 and 3. I wish I had this book 18 years ago! Now it's my husbands turn to read it. Although while I must admit that my two youngest children are pretty well behaved, the lessons and examples that I have learned by reading this book will go a long way to aid in avoiding the inevitable fights. It has answered my questions about why children do what they do. This book will be the one gift I take to baby showers in the future. Thank you for a wonderful tool.
