Summary: This book put our baby's head on straight -- literally!
Review: We hadn't read The New Basics until our friend Paul came over and looked at Sammy, our six-month-old, and told us he might have Torticolis, which is in the NB as "neck tilting. We thought Sammy just liked to lean his head to one side. But we took him in to see our own pediatrician, who'd himself noticed nothing unusual, and turns out he agreed with our amateur friend's diagnosis. So we went right out and bought our own copy. Anything clear enough to turn Paul into an expert must be doing something rght!

Now we keep Sammy's head up straight with proppers, and we've learned so many other useful things. We decided to hold off on adding grains to his diet, we aren't nearly as stressed out about his overall development, and he doesn't even cry as much as he used to. He's happier, and we're still finding more good answers and ideas in the New Basics book. Frankly, we've almost completely stopped reading our other baby books.

Summary: We Texans love Dr. Michel!
Review: We love Dr. Michel! He's taken care of our kids since we moved to NYC 3 years ago from Texas. He's kind and he's funny, and our kids love him. (Our nanny is in love with him.) What's important though is that none of the girls gets sick as often as they used to. When they do get sick they recover faster.

For instance: our oldest Joanie took over two years to fall asleep in her own bed back in Austin. Annie, born here, did it inside of a year after we started following Dr. Michel's instructions. You can see how we did it in the New Basics.

We bought copies of this great, helpful book for all our friends back in Austin so they could try his approach. From immunizations to antibiotics to thumbsucking and earaches and even earpulling, Dr. Michel has been so good for our girls... we want everybody to get the benefits of his approach and this book.
