Review: When I started planning our wedding I wanted to do it right. I bought eight different wedding planning books, read them all twice. I was still frantic and disorganized, however, until I found "Weddings For Dummies" with four months to go. Suddenly, I was organized! I was able to plan every last detail with confidence instead of paranoia! And our wedding day was just perfect! EVERY Bride-to-be NEEDS this book!

Summary: Surprisingly sophisticated
Review: When I was given this book as a gift, I didn't think I would use it that much. I assumed (erroneously) that it would be trite or targetted at a very young bride. I was wrong. This has been my favorite "go to" wedding book when I have a question. Whether it's invitation wording or things to watch out for with the caterer, Weddings for Dummies is an essential handbook for the bride to be. It will be my engagement gift of choice in the future!

Summary: What a management system book!
Review: When my husband and I started planning our wedding early this year, we had no idea where to start. We thought of have a proper project management system to manage the whole thing. This was the near perfect book for us. It gave us the information we needed with a little humor to keep us from completely going nuts. We referred to it again and again for nine days. I may even bring it to the wedding just in case but my husband talked some sense into me. We have since sent the book to a friend who is now using it to plan his wedding across the country. And, my husband and I have now started our own family planning!

Review: While I wouldn't say that this book is the most complete book for planning a wedding, I do feel it is a great starting point. Its hard trying to figure out where to start once you're engaged and this book is really helpful because it helps point you in th edirection of where to start. Also filled with great, relatively simple yet elegant ideas for your wedding.

Review: wow! this book is a really helpful tool for anyone planning their first wedding. it helped me to recognize and plan all the details that go into making a wedding happen, including details i never would have thought of myself. this book is a necessary resource for any bride and groom to prepare for all aspects of the biggest and best party you'll ever throw. the small price you'll pay for this book is worth every cent in the time and trouble you'll save. you'll be more organized and prepared than you ever thought possible.

Review: Yes, this book certainly covers it all. I think this book is really helpful from the first day of your engagement. The only one problem that I found with it is that is so lengthy, but I guess that is the only way to include everything that one needs to know about their wedding. I recommend it for those of you who really don't know a whole lot and want to plan their perfect wedding.
